Some Royal Inpiration...

Here are some gorgeous historical wedding gown costumes that I wanted to share. Nothing like a Royal wedding gown to get the creative juices flowing!
The Tudors' Queen Jane Seymour's royal creamy satin and gold embroidered wedding gown

Marie Antoinette's dramatic oyster colored confection features a watteau back and panniers, which create the wide skirt and allow for the embellishments on the skirt to be displayed.  This gown was in the popular robe à la française style.

The Duchess's Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire's gold wedding gown is another (though somewhat less dramatic) example of the robe à la française style.
The Young Victoria features a replica of Queen Victoria's actual white satin and lace gown.
